Chris was born and raised in Saratoga and attended Westmont High School. Upon graduation, he continued his education at California State University Chico, where he graduated with a degree in Management. During his time at Chico State he was a member of the ski (wakeboard) team.
Shortly after graduation, Chris began his career in Media Ad sales, where he provided media solutions and marketing plans for multi-million dollar corporations. In 2004 Chris seized the opportunity to join his family in residential real estate sales. Since entering the business 14 years ago, Chris continues to be recognized as a top performing agent in the greater bay area, possessing a variety of experience working with single family home buyers and sellers, as well as multi-billion dollar property development / investment companies. His commitment and devotion to his clients is second to none.
In 2009 Chris partnered with Matt Mueller to start selling real estate, as a team. Shortly after meeting, he and Matt built a plan to bring a new type of real estate brand and brokerage to market. In 2013, their vision to develop a truly collaborative and forward-thinking boutique brand came to life and they co-founded Mainstream Real Estate Group. With a very selective standard of business, leveraging current technology, and a commitment to collaborative culture that couldn’t be achieved by existing big box brick and mortar real estate offices in the South Bay, Mainstream hit the ground running and never looked back.
Since inception, Mainstream grew to nearly 25 agents and approximately $500 million in cumulative sales, which Chris successfully managed. The growth and reputation of the firm made Mainstream a company to watch.
Deeply driven by growth and success for their clients and agents alike, Chris & Matt never stopped strategizing on what the next phase of their business looked like and how to take Mainstream to the next level of production. After turning down offers from many highly recognizable brands, Chris & Matt found what could only be described as a perfect partner with Climb Real Estate and took their firm through acquisition at the end of 2017.
Climb, founded in San Francisco in 2010, is a leader in boutique brokerage services and part of NRT’s private label strategy.
