Getting To Know Daniel Ripper

As a teenager, Daniel Ripper was used to being surrounded by superheroes and their villains—at least on paper. It was all part of managing his parent’s comic book store. More than getting first dibs on the latest saga of good versus evil, this young man found a superhero within himself. Although intrigued by fictional characters noted for feats of courage and abilities beyond those of normal human beings, he was more inspired by the comic book heroes who did not possess superpowers. Instead, with only the aid of human will, they mastered skills like martial arts or sublime intuition.

A Likeable Character

With a head start in the business world, Daniel’s confidence knew no bounds and his strength of character could not be confined. He leaped into the unknown, cherishing his first taste of independence.

His early experience of running a comic book store made Daniel constantly strive for excellence. Along with gaining invaluable business experience—from doing inventory and payroll to customer service––he was inspired by the tales of epic achievement. Daniel loved interacting with so many different people, and in turn, his personable nature made him a favorite among the clientele. However, under his seemingly mild-mannered nature, his powers would not be contained. He was ready to face new challenges with a welcoming gaze. He wanted to make a difference not only in his own life, but the lives of others.

Epic Opportunity

With a keen eye for opportunity, it didn’t take long for this San Francisco native to see that new possibilities were emerging in the tech industry. He studied to become a web developer and signed on with a dot-com company at the height of the Internet boom. Absorbing all the information he could, he succeeded at this new venture. However, while this driven professional enjoyed the unique dynamics of the business, he still possessed the dream to make an impact on the community.
