I see buying houses the same way I see buying cars — confusing, overwhelming, and oftentimes intimidating. I value transparency as the number one trait I look for in a salesman, closely followed by knowledge, understanding and patience.
My career began when I was employed as an international buyer for a high end furniture retail store in Taiwan. My love for the home and design industry took off — I started taking night classes and ultimately received my certificate in Interior Design.
From there, I was able to take advantage of my access to furniture inventory along with my newly acquired design skills into starting my own business – home staging and interior design. I guess you could say, all of my hobbies and skills so far have converged into a passion that’s led me directly into this industry as an agent.
I own and manage several investment properties in the Bay Area, and most recently purchased my dream home in Pleasanton. As a home stager, I’ve had the honor of working with many agents and sellers in different markets, allowing me to stay on top of trends in the real estate industry. This has helped me understand what agents envision for their listings, what buyers look for in their perfect home, and what key home features sellers want to emphasize. As an interior designer, I’ve helped clients turn their houses into homes in ways as simple as choosing a paint color, and as elaborate as redesigning a new kitchen.
I believe in always being a good samaritan and saving animals in need. I saved two stray dogs that were found wandering on a busy intersection, and in the past seven years, I’ve rescued a total of four dogs from shelters in California, and most recently, a shelter in Oregon.
When I’m not rescuing dogs, I love to read, cook (Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings cookbook is my guilty pleasure,) and flip homes.
I received a B.A. in psychology and social behavior, and minored in educational studies at University of California, Irvine.
