Climb Real Estate Group Welcomes Top Producer Kendra Wall
November 26, 2013
Kendra Wall joins San Francisco-based real estate brokerage Climb Real Estate Group as Senior Sales Associate.
San Francisco-based Climb Real Estate Group is pleased to announce their affiliation with Kendra Wall, who will join the real estate team as Senior Sales Associate. An accomplished residential real estate agent, Kendra comes to Climb with over 11 years of sales experience in residential general brokerage.
“Climb is a very dynamic, forward thinking, team oriented company. I believe it represents San Francisco’s current culture and that is good for both buyers and sellers. I feel the same energy I did when working at a start up when I first moved out here in 1999,” said Wall. “It isn’t just about selling someone a house or a condo–it is about helping buyers achieve a certain lifestyle and level of comfort and about creating a story around my seller’s listings that attract today’s buyers. I feel like Climb understands and does more to support this goal better than any other company and that is what made me make the jump!”
Dubbed one of the Top Producing agents by Vanguard Properties’ prestigious Top 21 Club since 2008 and honored among San Francisco’s Top 100 since 2003, Kendra Wall has an impressive client list with sales of single-family homes, multi-family buildings, condos, TICs, and lofts. Her career started at Sotheby’s International Realty assisting in the sale and purchase of North Side communities such as Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Nob Hill and the Marina. Since moving to Vanguard Properties in the Mission District of San Francisco in 2007, she has brokered over $100 million in transactions in areas such as Mission Bay, SOMA, Potrero Hill, South Beach, Yerba Buena, Hayes Valley and The Mission.
“My focus has changed over the years and is dependent on current markets. When I first started I was focused more on the north side of San Francisco, but now I focus on more centrally located and southern neighborhoods,” said Wall. “During the downturn I managed several different large bank portfolios, listing property all over the Bay Area. For several years I also worked with sellers and buyers focused on the short-sale market. In the past two years the market has changed significantly, and I represent about 50% buyers and 50% sellers. My focus is on helping first-time and move-up buyers and sellers make a wise investment.”
“With the addition of an industry veteran like Kendra Wall, Climb is excited to continue broadening our reach into key neighborhoods like Potrero Hill and Cole Valley while serving the needs of our customers through top sales personnel,” said Michelle Balog, Managing Sales Director of Climb Real Estate. “Kendra will be a tremendous addition to our growing residential real estate sales team.”
“It’s a pleasure to have Kendra return home to Climb,” says Mark Choey, a top agent and co-founder of Climb. “We’re excited for her to provide her buyers and sellers with a more robust platform, stronger marketing, and brand visibility with her new association.”
A native of Denver, Colorado, Kendra received a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Arizona State University and a BA from DePauw University. She moved to San Francisco in 1999 and worked as a journalist covering venture capital and investment in the semiconductor industry. She started working as a real estate agent in 2003.
Kendra currently resides in Cole Valley with her Cavachon, Roxie, and owns investment property in Potrero Hill. Since moving to San Francisco, she is a true neighborhood connoisseur and has resided in Lower Pacific Heights, Glen Park, Hayes Valley, the Lower Haight, Potrero Hill, and Alamo Square.

Climb Real Estate Group continued its tradition of giving back to the community by volunteering at the San Francisco Food Bank.
San Francisco-based Climb Real Estate Group continued its holiday tradition by giving back to the community in which they live, work, and sell. This innovative residential real estate brokerage makes giving a priority by helping low-income families, children and the elderly through volunteer efforts at the San Francisco Food Bank.
On October 30th, the Climb sales agents and marketing staff spent 3 hours helping pack over 18,000 pounds of tomatoes and kiwis for distribution to the Food Bank’s pantries and nonprofit partners. The healthy, fresh food comes at a time of year when many families have to choose between buying food and paying winter’s higher heating costs.
Since it was the day before Halloween, the volunteers from Climb Real Estate dressed up in costume as zombies or in 80’s fitness attire. In addition to volunteering their time and labor, many Climbers also donated financially, including Todd Adair, who personally donated $1,000 to the Food Bank.
“Volunteering and civic engagement are the cornerstone of our corporate culture,” said Tiffany Combs, Managing Broker at Climb Real Estate Group. “When agents, volunteers, and residents come together, it has a positive and powerful impact on a neighborhood community.”

Wan was previously one of the top producers at Hastings Realty Group, with a primary focus in the Asian-American market. “When I first started in real estate, my focus was on foreclosed and distressed properties, mainly helping first time home-buyers and investors to rehabilitate distressed properties,” said Wan. “One of our most successful marketing vehicles was setting up a foreclosure bus tour, taking buyers out in a large group in a tour bus to tour foreclosed properties all over the Bay Area.”
Wan focuses on helping first-time homebuyers, sellers who are upsizing or downsizing, and foreign and local investors interested in rehabilitated and rental properties. He sells real estate throughout the Bay Area, including in San Francisco’s Richmond, Sunset, and Portola districts, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, San Mateo, and Foster City.
“I joined Climb Real Estate Group because their visibility and marketing is far superior to any other real estate brokerage,” said Wan. “We are building a huge presence in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is a fun place to be a part of this dynamic organization.”

For each transaction, Marco’s approach was spot on. His clients were educated, qualified, and well ready for their perfect home. Marco delivered. Climb Real Estate’s Michelle Balog and Dirk Kinley Featured at YPN’s Top Producer Technology Panel
October 24, 2013
Climb Real Estate Group’s Michelle Balog and Dirk Kinley were featured at a Top Producer Technology panel sponsored by the San Francisco Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network.
On October 16th, 2013, the San Francisco Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network invited Michelle Balog and Dirk Kinley of Climb Real Estate Group to speak at a Top Producer Technology panel held at the Marlowe Sales Gallery in San Francisco. Michelle Balog was the moderator of the panel, which also included Butch Haze and Rick Teed of Sotheby’s International Realty, Sara Werner Costa of Vanguard Properties, Rob Regan of Pacific Union International, and Reid Rankin of Coldwell Banker. Topics included how staff and teams were organized; what technologies were the first agents adopted and what lessons were learned from them; the primary purposes of current real estate technologies; favorite new and possible future technologies; and how technology has impacted their business.
“I was thrilled to be asked to be the moderator of some amazing agents for an incredible and well attended event. I was proud to have our top producing agent Dirk Kinley as part of the dynamic panel of agents,” said Michelle Balog, Managing Sales Director of Climb Real Estate. “Being an experienced agent, I always strive to learn how to better run my business and I am always curious how other top producers run theirs and what role technology plays in their success. It was a stunning evening of knowledge and sharing.”
In a statement, Dirk Kinley, Managing Director of Climb Real Estate, said, “It was an honor to speak on this San Francisco real estate technology panel. Notable trends we spoke on were video, workflow/leadflow management and branding. The feedback had been that those who attended found it particularly salient to today’s condo, loft or single-family real estate agent who is now, more than ever, required to leverage technology to sustain and grow their practice.”
The SFAR Young Professionals Network helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to learn more about the real estate agency, connect with their peers, engage in their communities, and learn from more experienced agents. The YPN group in San Francisco is very popular with the agents at Climb Real Estate Group; Leasing Director Darcy Robinson was previously a chair on the committee, and many Climb agents participate in their programming throughout the year.
