Her professionalism, attention to detail, and negotiation skills ensure success. Buyers and sellers with busy schedules and exquisite tastes are thrilled to work with Marcella -- they are impressed with her market expertise as well as her innate ability to match buyers with their ideal home. Marcella began working as a resident manager at 2360 Pacific Avenue to help pay her way through school. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. What began as a fascination with architecture grew into a passion for real estate and creating a sense of community. In 2003, she obtained her Broker License.
Her career approach looked at the big picture; she continued her education receiving additional designations: CCAM (Certified Community Association Manager), High Rise Fire Safety Inspector, and NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Response Team). She prides herself on being a safety girl and her mantra is “no one gets hurt on my watch”.
Prior to joining Climb, Marcella worked in property management for the past 15 years, including four years at Titan Management Group and two years as the General Manager of The Metropolitan, a 345-unit high-rise in the Rincon Hill area of San Francisco. Having prepared annual budgets and assisted with preparing reserve studies, she understands that purchasing a property is more than just buying a home; it is a financial investment that should be chosen with care.
In 2012, Marcella received a trophy from the SF Apartment Association and a Certificate of Recognition from the California Legislature Assembly, honoring her exemplary performance and leadership in support of the efforts to assist, inform and educate property owners and promote good relations within the industry.
Her extensive experiences with condominium high-rises make her a great fit on the Climb team. Instilled in her is the importance of thorough research and taking care of her clients.
Fluent in Spanish, Marcella loves Latin music and culture; she is an accomplished dressmaker and aspiring fashion designer.
"I served on the Metropolitan Board of Directors for six years, and for two years during my tenure, Marcella Bartolini was the Metropolitan General Manager. Marcella’s dedication to her duties and to the Association, along with her staff leadership, were exemplary, and much of the Metropolitan’s success during those two pretty challenging years (the Met was going through its SB 800 construction defect litigation) was, in large part, due to her hard work and dedication to our building and community. Marcella genuinely cared about both the Met residents and her staff, is ethical beyond reproach, and used her intimate knowledge of condos and high-rises, as well as her relationships with contractors, agents, and tradespeople gained from her years in the real estate industry to make the Met one of San Francisco’s premier high-rise condo buildings. After Marcella left the Met to go back into real estate, it was a no-brainer to use Marcella as our agent when we decided to sell our Met penthouse condo. She did a superb job marketing our condo, always kept us apprised of developments as they occurred, was always available to answer questions, and brought us multiple offers to consider. She has earned the trust and respect of all her peers in the industry, and I would highly recommend Marcella if you’re looking for a real estate agent."
